Grading Scales

Dinwiddie County Public Schools uses consistent grading scales to provide students and families with clear, meaningful information about academic progress and achievement. Grades are intended to reflect a student’s understanding of course content, mastery of learning standards, and progress toward established expectations. The grading scales outlined below help ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency across our schools while supporting ongoing communication among students, families, and educators.
